Ice
Ice. Ice is everywhere. We saw it coming. We knew we needed to prepare. And here it is, as forecasted: ice.
It's covering everything. It's making streets unsafe to walk or drive. We're trapped in our neighborhoods, waiting for our municipalities to clear the roads of ice, and make it safe to move outside again.
The storm wasn't as bad as we all worried it might be, but there have been deaths. People were killed because of ice. And there is another storm on the way, they say. Stay inside, they say. Stay out of the streets, away from ice.
So here we are, watching ice accumulate. Waiting for the next storm.

Waiting, and trying to clear it.
