This issue we’re ‘celebrating’ one year of this publication. Yay! And so we’re going back how it was in the beginning, before I’d splintered it into a thousand subzines. To be fair, that was the plan all along, so that prismatic subsectioning is also part of the original intent; but, the format was necessarily different before we had all those areas fleshed out.
Well, I bought Everything Fails and certainly enjoyed it. As to writing a novel in five days, that's an awful lot of coffee and cigarettes to consume. Legend has it Jack Kerouac could turn out a book in a week, and Harlen Ellison could as well.
Roger Corman did make a finished movie in two days, mainly due to some issues in Hollywood, but Little Shop of Horrors has its charm. Roger liked pissing off people in La La Land.
You did a LOT in one year and I’m always in admiration at how much you commit to a page. 20k words in 5 days? Damn, that’s a sweatfest. I’d love to hear about that experience.
Grieving...that's so hard. I know exactly where you're coming from with that, and I'm going to say the usual bullshit that people said to me, and still say to me, that it takes time. I understand that. I went through all of that when my parents died. It's the first death that's the hardest. My mother's death was beautiful. She lived to be 96 and went peacefully. My mother-in-law, same thing, but at 95. My issues lay with workplace trauma in which I was driving a machine and my best friend of forty-four years slipped on a piece of ice and slid under the wheels of my machine and was killed. I'm still fucked up because of it.
Yes, if they aren't finally doing some maintenance on Ello (HA!), I suspect the plug has been pulled. I know some websites have been pulled off the net due to the bank failures recently. I wonder if Talenthouse was one of the casualties...🤔

As to Paetron, ugh! I do follow a couple of friends on it but I hate their app with a passion.
Here here!

Appreciate the shout out.
